Banks Mill Studios in Derby!
We've been a resident at Banks Mill Studios since March 2023, originally, we had a small workshop on the top floor of the building. In September we moved into a new larger workshop space. In December 2024 we are moving again into a new bigger workshop space!
The workshop has been arranged into half showroom and half workspace, you can join us to browse our range of lamps available to buy or discuss ideas for custom-made bespoke lighting designs and repairs for your vintage and antique lamps.
Monthly Drop-in sessions
On the last saturday of every month we will be opening our workshop up for you to drop-in to view and browse our range of upcycled lamps or bring broken lights in for repair. No appointment is required for our monthly drop-in sessions. Dates are to be announced.

Banks Mill Studios
Banks Mill is a large Victorian Mill building situated in the West End of Derby city centre, part of the Derwent Valley Mills UNESCO World Heritage Site. It's a magnificent building full of history, character and charm.
Banks Mill Studios is a hub of creativity, it's operated by the University of Derby and is home to around 30 small independent businesses which all work in a creative industry, from artists to jewellers, dress makers, photographers, and interior designers.
Banks Mill is situated a few minutes outside of Derby City Centre and is in easy reach of the surrounding areas of Derbyshire, Nottingham, Leicester, Burton-on-Trent, Staffordshire and Warwickshire.
