Vase to lamp conversion

We love taking old objects and turning them into lamps. We get regular requests from customers if we can create bespoke lamps out of vases and urns. At Stage Left Lux we have developed special techniques to turn most styles of vases and urns into table lamps.

One of our regular customers based in London who owns an interior design business regularly finds beautiful urns and antique vases and sends them to us at our Derby-based workshop for us to convert into lighting features.

​We recently worked on converting this old terracotta urn into beautiful table lamp. We added a brass plate as a lid which we had treated with antiquing solution to give it an aged effect, and we added an antiqued brass lamp fitting in-keeping with the distressed style of the urn. The end result was a gorgeous stylish table lamp.​
