With a base made from oak that was reclaimed from the lock gates on the Trent and Mersey Canal combined with industrial copper and brass to create this wonderful steampunk table lamp.
The oak was provided by us by a volunteer who did some work on the canals to replace some lock gates.
The oak used for the lamp base has sat underwater for the best part of 100 years giving it's naturally blackened aged appearance.
Combined with copper entwined around various stopcock handles, and a pressure gauge, leading to a gooseneck with a steel wire cage lampshade.
Standa approximately 48cm tall, base measures 20cm x 15cm.
- Powered by a low voltage 12 volt transformer.
