Restored Converted gas wall light with adjustable arm, we beleive this could possible be Victorian, making it around 100 years old!
We obtained this old gas lamp from a shed clearence, when we got it was covered in nasty old gloss paint, we have carefully stripped away the paint and gently to leave the beautiful patterned brass.
The brass arm features a beautiful patterned detail, and is on an adjustable elbow allowing the light to be positioned in a variety of ways. The arm is mounted on a base which features various floral type patterms.
The arm of the light is in two sections, each measuring around 12".
We were lucky enough to also acquire a beautiful vintage bee-hive shaped milky glass shade which works perfectly with this old gas light.
The gas light has been converted at some point historically to electric, but we have fully rewired using vintage style braded cable and fitted a new brass bulbholder. We have added an extra length of cable to provide plenty of cable for you to confortably mount the light on a wall and plug in.
This would make a beautiful addition to any bedroom or living room as a reading lamp.
