Upcycled lighting, handmade in Derbyshire

Updated: May 17

We create amazing feature lighting by upcycling everyday unused materials and transform them into beautiful feature lighting for your home.

We love to use old redundant objects that have had their day and make them useful again by upcycling them into amazing feature lights!

Last weekend we visited the Antiques centre at Ilkeston Derbyshire, we had an amazing day and got loads of goodies to upcycle into lamps.

We bought an old vintage style landline phone, some carpenters block planes, some pressure gauges, and even an old rusty cake baking tin, oh and a rustic wooden plant stand!

Here's how we created this upcycled lamp...

We used the plant stand as a base, carefully attached one of the carpenters planes to it as a totem-pole column.

We added a copper pipe arm with lovely chunky brass pipe fittings.

We've then used the rusty old baking tin as a huge lampshade, giving a stunning look.....

Here's the result, this eye-catching steampunk-industrial style table lamp, perfect for adding excitement to any space. It would look perfect in a New York loft apartment or even a country cottage.
